Mt Everest Primary School Kitandwe Child Sponsorship Programme a huge success
We are delighted to say that we have not only met the target we set ourselves of recruiting 20 child sponsors for the Mt Everest Primary School, but we actually have 27 sponsors signed up to date which equates to over 10% of the current pupils!
This is an incredible response and it will have a profoundly positive impact on the children and their families and indeed the wider Kitandwe community for many years to come (I should point out however that there are still children in need within this community and so anyone interested in signing up for this programme can still do so). We would like to offer our sincere thanks to all who have signed up to this programme and I really want to impress on all the investment for good that you have made and the powerful impact it’s going to have.
Our good friend Keith has now visited Kitandwe to take photos and build up histories and bios on the most needy children for the 26 sponsors which will be sent out to them shortly. I know Ian and myself are certainly looking forward to getting our packs and beginning correspondence.
