The Final Countdown

On March 14th Graham Kinch and Ian Taylor, will fly out to Uganda. Graham and Ian climbed Mt Everest in the spring of 2008 to raise money for the Kitandwe school project in partnership with the Irish charity Fields of Life. On the 16th of March they will visit Kitandwe in Western Uganda for the official opening of the Mt Everest Kitandwe School. This will conclude a 3 year project in which they climbed Mt Everest and in the last year, thanks to huge support raised €60,000 for the school. Following the opening of the school they will then spend some time in Rwanda and possibly in the Democratic Republic of the Congo seeing further examples of the work of Fields of Life.

Graham and Ian would like to acknowledge the huge support for this project they have received over the last 3 years and would like to offer their sincere thanks for the continued support in this the final leg of the journey.
