Recovery
We are slowly but surely settling back into life at sea-level.
My fractured rib is healing well. I also sprained my ankle on the trek out and so have been going to the physio about that but it’s coming on nicely too. It’s been a great excuse not to do any training but with the marathon just 3 months away training for that started this week (and boy did it hurt!). There are a few place left for those wanting to run the marathon with us and we should point out that as we are still recovering this will be a leisurely, non-competitive attempt (it typically takes 6 months to physically recover from Everest and 12 months to mentally process it).
We have been working hard on the fundraising side of things and we are delighted to say that building of the first block has at last begun. We would also like to thank State Street for their recent donation.
